At one time, both of my brothers lived in Ohio. Now just one of them does. You know what else is in Ohio? Cedar Point Amusement Park! I went several times with my boys but the last time I went only the youngest was able to go. That was the year (2000) that Millennium Force opened up and it was the tallest and faster roller coaster in the world—for a few months. If I remember correctly another opened in Japan that same year, called the Steel Dragon 2000. Millennium Force was advertised as the steepest and fastest at that time and indeed it hit about 90 mph going down the first drop. It was 310 feet tall, a record at the time I went on it but surpassed by the Steel Dragon 2000 and others. And yes, I love roller coasters!
Until next time,
Arktander
